MUMBAI: Star India has syndicated its popular fiction show ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?’ to Russia’s NTK Krasnodar. The series was obtained by the channel from Star in partnership with Intellecta Srl, a long-term partner of Star India in Europe, Russia and the CIS countries. ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?’ will be aired on the Russian channel as ‘How Do I Call This Love?’ The series will air on weekdays from 12:05 on channel No. 9. Intellecta Srl CEO Christina Vlahova said, “We are very happy to offer Russian viewers the best-rated Indian TV series.

We have been working together with NTK Krasnodar for the last three years and are very happy with their pioneering efforts to show the best of India to their audience. We are now looking forward to working with other TV channels in Russia to be able to offer the best of India and reach an even wider Russian audience.” The show continues a strong presence of Indian TV series in Russia on NTK Krasnodar and it will air simultaneously with the currently running ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ translated as ‘The Light of Your Love’.

The choice of ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?’ came following a poll on which series their viewers would like to watch and viewers were expecting with great interest. Intellecta Srl is a strategic media consultancy working in the territories of Europe, Russia and the CIS countries, offering the highest-rated Indian TV series and Bollywood movies.

Over the past five years, the company has grown to be one of the major players in the market of syndication of Indian content and has syndicated Indian TV series and Bollywood movies to Romania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Serbia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Georgia.
