i have a airtel hd dvr i have not update 502 yet. can airtel digital tv add khabar 365 din or any local news channel tripura add in airtel digital tv in future.

Dear friends,

Please read all the posts in the thread carefully..
502 update has been rolled back to 457 (reasons unknown) :'(

As Destiny Awaits said that he is having issues getting Dolby Digital Plus audio thru HDMI .. i believe this is the exact reason update has been rolled back.
So until they come up a with proper solution to this issue i don't think 502 update will be out.

Be patient, it will be out very soon :tup

airtel is just waste of time,really frustrating,they cant add immportant hd channels,waiting for hd channels since a long time,but nw they cant even update software to hd channels,so i am moving to d2h,...:no

My Homecast HD DVR updated with new software 503.
HDMI DD, DD+ still not supported.
Though PQ and Stereo sound improved a lot.

Not in a position to post screenshots atm. Will post when get time.

Bit rate is 384 Kbps
Channel 3/2/0.1
Sampling 48 kHz

Dolby digital plus showing in the audio settings, but no channel is available with that codec. Only Dolby digital available through hdmi
