Since Star Pravah is currently the number one channel in Maharashtra, it'll be good if Disney-Star launches Pravah Picture and Pravah Picture HD soon, thereby expanding their regional (Marathi) market. And yes, it'll give a good competition to Zee Talkies and Zee Talkies HD.

At this point, out of all the main Star regional movie channels, only Star Suvarna Plus does not have any HD feed planned, while out of the Zee regional movie channels in the big 6 languages, Zee Bangla Cinema does not have any HD feed planned.

Zee Thirai HD and Zee Picchar HD launching on or after 5th September

Good news.. But which movies they will telecast? All the major hit movies are with Zee and some with Colors... Unlike South Indian film industries, Marathi film industry is very small. May be they will start producing movies like Zee in future.
