Sriharikota : India's workhorse
rocket, the Polar Satellite Launch
Vehicle or PSLV, has launched
from Indian Space Research
Organisation's space port in
Sriharikota. It is carrying six
satellites from Singapore onboard
which the rocket will place in
orbit.
Today's launch is the 50th launch
of a big rocket from the Satish
Dhawan Space Centre in
Sriharikota; it will also be the
