Pulimurugan Completes 75 Days In Kerala Theatres...
Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan continues to have a dream run in the theatres. The film, which released on October 7, 2016 is still doing strong in majority of the centres.
The film, directed by Vysakh, has now successfully completed 75 days of run in theatres of Kerala. Reportedly, the movie is still running in 90 centres, making it the first Malayalam film to do so.
It is quite rare nowadays to see films continuing in these many theatres after 75 days. Above 35,000 shows of Pulimurugan have been screened in Kerala and thus making it the first film to achieve this mark
The film that has had a great outing at the box office, has also found a place in the Top 5 grossing South Indian movies of the year 2016. Even the Telugu dubbed version of Pulimurugan, which released early this month, did a tremendous business.
Going at this rate, the film is sure to complete 100 days of run in Kerala. The strike called by the Producers Association has put a question mark on the release of movies like Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, Jomonte Suvisheshangal, Fukri, Ezra etc. Hence, Pulimurugan is expected to have a good run in the Christmas vacation as well, which would definitely help the movie create many more records.
