All the local cable operators of Punjab and the main cable service provider company of the state expressed their anger after an order of CM Channi who announced to fix the rate of Rs 100 per connection per month for cable TV service providers in Punjab.

After this announcement, cable operators protested by holding a press conference at Chandigarh Press Club. Cable operators said that this is a Tughlaqi decree of the Punjab government, which will affect about 5000 cable operators in Punjab who provide employment to about 25000 people get employment from this business.

They said that the business of cable TV comes under TRAI, Punjab Government does not have any authority to do so. The cable operators have appealed to CM to withdraw his decision and calling Punjab's cable business as mafia should also be stopped from the side of the government and Congress leaders.

Is delhi government--kejriwal- announced any rule as mentioned below due to channels.earning money in both ads and subcription ?

Pay channels should not telecast ads.
If ads telecast then that channel should be FTA channel.

Is this news true ?

Fake news buddy

Due to TRAI regulations this rule cannot be implemented.

It's practically impossible for any state government to reduce charges on cable or tax. It comes under central government and GST council.
Being independent media . India can't put restrictions on channel price legally
