16:9 Wide Aspect Ratio.
1 - USB 2.0 port on the rear & 1- USB 2.0 port on right side.
CVBS (Composite Video & Stereo audio connectors) interface.
Digital audio.
Dolby Digital Plus.
Video-on-demand (VoD) ? only content which is pushed by Tata Sky.
Pushed video on demand shall be available on any USB Pen drive which has a memory of 8 to 64GB.
Tata Sky does not guarantee that the feature will work on all the devices listed below as there are various parameters even in same models of a make of pen drive, which could create issues. Also pen drives models do get outdated very soon.
You can access push video on demand on a zapper set top box only if you have a Tata Sky HD set top box attached with a USB pen drive which has memory of 8 ? 64GB.
Following are the steps to follow to begin using push video on demand feature:
You will need a Tata Sky HD zapper set top box.
You will need to plug in the USB pen drive which has memory of 8 to 64 GB range.
You will need to give a missed call to 092022 92022 from registered mobile number or alternate RMN 4.
Remember to keep your set top box switched on or in standby mode so that the authorization Tata Sky needs to activate will reach the box.
Post activation un-plug the USB pen drive after 5 minutes and plug it back to access pushed video on demand content via Showcase > Tata Sky on Demand > Ready to play menu.
You will receive Movies, TV Shows etc on your USB pen drive, if your set top box is in standby mode.
After following the above steps:
If you access Showcase > Tata Sky on Demand>Ready to play menu, you will see an empty listing if you access this menu as soon as you have been authorized.
You will have to put the box in standby mode.
When the set top box is in standby mode, the movies, TV shows will be pushed on your box by Tata Sky.
Now if you access Showcase > Tata Sky on Demand> Ready to play menu, you will see all the content pushed on your set top box in a list.
On accessing a video which you are interested in, you will be able to watch the program for free if you have already subscribed to the channel as part of catch-up, else, you will have to send an SMS with event code to Tata Sky to purchase the video.
On purchase/ selecting the video, you will be able to play back the video and enjoy! Note: You will receive Movies, TV Shows etc. on your USB pen drive, if your set top box is in ONLY standby mode.

Tata Sky requires the subscriber to have a connected High Definition personal video recorder either to push exciting content or the subscriber to connect to our library to access thousands of Movies, TV Shows, Do it yourself, Bollywood, Hollywood etc and download the content on the box.
Now, if the subscriber has only a High Definition Zapper they will not be able to access and download online catalogue. Tata Sky is allowing the subscriber/s to insert a USB pen drive which should be 8 ? 64 GB size to their HD Zappers to access content which is pushed by Tata Sky like exciting Movies, TV Shows etc for the subscriber/s to watch.
