Once upon a time we had ndtv hindu.. English news channel covering TN news exclusively...

Not TN, only Chennai since The Hindu newspaper is headquartered there. In 2011 NDTV Hindu became a Tamil channel. The next year it became Thanthi TV.

I don't think so what I saw they covers news simultaneously north as well as South (entire Tamilnadu) and they reading news in English as well as Tamil simultaneously till Thanthi Group Acquired
