Seeking Help Quality reduced to 720p in Sony Liv

When i am using Sony Liv app on Tata Play Binge even 4k videos showing maximum video quality to 720p only.. there is no option for 1080p or 2160p… on the other hand when i am using sony liv app on my Google tv or jio fiber stb (with same account) they are showing video quality options upto 2160p… anyone else facing same issue??

Maybe they have reduced the resolution quality to reduce load on server and even accommodate more content on Binge Platform / App

I think you don't have any understanding on how streaming and embedding are two different things.

When Sony Liv is streamed through Binge+ STB/app, it shouldn't increase load on Tata Play server since the content is directly routed from Sony Liv server. The content played on Binge platform is only embedded and doesn't cause any increase in load on the Tata Play or Binge server.

It can be a temporary bug in the app.

Not tried, will check. but one doubt. When you have beautiful Google Tv , why r u using on tata binge?

But in all other apps like Disney Hotstar,Apple tv,prime video,netflix i am getting 4k resolution option.. so why not on sony liv??

Sony liv content is not embeded on binge platform… i have downloaded sony liv app from play store and playing videos from sony liv app itself..

Except Live sports(1080p), remaining coming in max 720p. I think bug from sony end.

I dont think anyone is getting it… this problem is just for app in tata play binge stb not on jio stb or google tv..

Could be. I use binge+ box only in offline mode just for tv channels.
