Filmmaker Suman Mukhopadhyay has roped in the unusual pair of Rahul Bose and Konkona Sharma in his next film. This pair was last seen together in the much acclaimed Mr. And Mrs. Iyer. Rahul and Konkona will now be seen playing Amit and Labanya in Mukhopadhyay's adaptation of the Tagore classic 'Shesher Kabita'.
Suman, who will be directing the film, wants to concentrate on this love story and more so, on the characters not forgetting the aspect of puzzlement in all human relationships. Since the film will be based on the characters, Suman needed good actors who could also step into the shoes of the characters that Tagore has created. Besides both characters are erudite and have a strong intellectual background. Hence, Suman's casting of Rahul and Konkona. The film's shoot will take place in May-June, in Kolkata, Shillong and Oxford. Confirming this Rahul tweeted, "Looks like @konkonas and I will be in a love story again.
