Rajesh Khanna's "Anand" Reboot

One of the most iconic films of Bollywood, Anand, is all set to be remade. The 1971 film featured Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna in pivotal roles. The film will be remade by producer Sameer Raj Sippy, who is the grandson of NC Sippy. For the unversed, NC Sippy had originally bankrolled Anand and his grandson Sameer will produce the remake along with Vikram Khakhar. As of now, the director and cast of the film are not finalised.

Very bad idea. It is very difficult to find another Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh, Salil Chowdhury, Mukesh, Manna Dey and of course Hrishilkesh Mukherjee these days.

Bollywood's new name is Dabbawood now . If they don't have new stories , they'll start messing up with the old classics . Let it be songs or movies , it is the same for them . Anand was such a beautiful movie which describes the true meaning of Friendship and Life but they will now insert some remix songs along with cringe dialogues and overacting to remake it 😒☹️
