The much awaited Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiyaan is making brisk progress lately and is expected to be ready to hit the screens soon. The latest news is that AR Rahman is in London for the re-recording work of this film.
The film has been in the making for a long time and the reason behind that is Kochadaiyaan's director Soundarya Ashwin wants this film to be technically superior and is leaving no stone unturned to achieve this goal. Kochadaiyaan has music by AR Rahman and the Oscar-Grammy winner who has has watched some important scenes from the movie wrote on his social networking page recently, "Had a sneek preview of Rajini Sir's motion capture results for one of the songs from Kochadaiyaan. Looks like animation on Steroids! EPIC."
Kochadaiyaan is made using 3D using motion capturing technology and is being directed by Soundarya R Ashwin, the younger daughter of the Superstar. Rajini plays a dual role in the movie - that of a loyal commander to an emperor and his son. While Shobana is paired opposite Rajini senior, the son has Deepika Padukone as the love interest.
