Release would be Software, which will be dependent on the Hardware (Like firmware). Hence this is different for each STB.
Release 616 is for Techicolor HEVC STB.

Though the above trick is posted for Tata Sky. It works for airtel too. Because both uses same hardware manufacturers..

Unplug your set top box from power slot, plug it in again and press exit button 3 times and on please wait initialisation screen press 2465 and then press OK
