regarding scanning the stb

I urgently need to know how to scan stb and updating new software. Plz anyone help me.

Hi bro, you just need to go to menu then installation then auto scan & scan your box. This is the way I do in sun direct. But if there is any other procedure ADTV users like Shawl bro, Ashok bro or others can confirm.

Updating software manually

1. Off power/pull plug of STB
2. Put it back/On STB
3. Press exit when "initializing" screen comes and twice press 2465 in remote, quickly
4. if successful both green and red light will blink
5. Wait for download.

Don't know if it works in new STBs
