Reliance Entertainment owned Riverstone Pictures has inked a multi-year financing pact with Open Road Films for a slate of films.
The movies will be produced by Open Road, beginning with Jamie Foxx and Michelle Monaghan’s ‘Sleepless Night’.
Riverstone is a Reliance Entertainment company founded by Deepak Nayar and Nik Bower and backed by Ingenious Media.
The company was launched last year when it came aboard to finance ‘Genius’, starring Colin Firth. Open Road CEO Tom Ortenberg announced the deal with Riverstone Pictures co-founders Nayar and Bower.
‘Sleepless Night’ will be directed by Baran bo Odar this summer in Atlanta and Las Vegas.
