Talks are on going bro. Since Hathway owns GTPL they want to acquire the parent company first. Many other small MSOs also might sell out to Jio.

I think Jio will be just using old cable operator link to get access to all those homes where cable operator was operating for so many years, Jio will just replace box with Jio box with entire their own new set up of new Fibre cable and Box etc.In return Jio may give 15-20 % of cable charges collected from customers,as lowest plan seems to be rumored as Rs699 per month for cable broadband cum TV for Jio connection so old cable operator may get Rs130 to 170 per month
