Reliance Jio Media has received MSO licence from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB).

“We received provisional MSO licence yesterday evening,” a source confirmed. Mukesh Ambani-controlled Reliance Jio Media had applied for an MSO licence to the MIB in January.

Subsequently, the application was sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for security clearance on 2 February. The company has planned a fibre-to-the-home arrangement to offer television channels to consumer homes.

we still need receiver to receive 4G signal

Guys reliance has opted for a pan india MSO license. Its not IPTV or 4G (not via internet)
This is a pure digital cable tv service hence its a MSO.
Users need to buy a STB and connect the MSO cable to it to get channels just like how other digital cable MSO work in the country.

Apart from this yes they have also putting 4g fibre optic cables in which users can watch tv on tab, phone, pc via a internet.
