Actually this show never excellent ratings, that's why later it was shifted to 2:30pm slot. Meanwhile, Star Plus never promoted it like other shows but it manage to garnish good rating even after all consequences.
Similarly, Star Plus did with Ekta Kapoor's most shows afterwards for example Tere Liye. Even today also Star Plus is not promoting Ye Hai Chahatein but it's on Top 3 show on Hindi TV industry.
