Chello Zone’s global preschool channel, JimJam, which boasts 14 million subscribers worldwide, has launched on Romtelecom’s Dolce and iDolce platforms in Romania.
Romtelecom is one of Romania’s largest providers of television services, cable TV, DTH and IPTV, including Dolce as the country’s largest DTH platform. JimJam will be available as a 24-hour channel and dubbed into Romanian. It is already available on Romtelecom’s Nextgen cable platform. JimJam’s presence on Dolce and iDolce will serve to increase the channel’s reach in a competitive Romanian and Central Eastern European market, granting kids access to series such as Pingu, Thomas & Friends and Bob the Builder (pictured).
The preschool channel has expanded its footprint across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia over the past two years, recently increasing its presence in Holland and Portugal and launching on yes in Israel.
