Salman Khan’s PRDP breaks TRP Record of Bajrangi Bhaijaan – Highest Ever
The television premiere of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has set the record for the most watched Hindi movie of all-time. The new system that tracks data and calls it TVTs instead of TRPs, is said to be more accurate as its sample size is more than 20000 homes.
Aired on Star Gold on Valentine’s Day (14th February), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has garnered viewership of 2,51,19,000 making it the highest, ahead of Bajrangi Bhaijaan which recorded 2,37,45,000 impressions.
PRDP is around 5% more than Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which was the previous best. The Kabir Khan directed film continues to be hugely popular on television, even though it has now been aired several times.
