Breaking Sangeet Bangla & Sangeet Marathi Added by ADTV

It Airtel remove some unwanted Airtel home channels, they will be some space to add channels😉

Home Channels r not unwanted, airtel digital tv runs ads on these channels which inturn generates revenue, this is extremely essential for investing in various areas to provide good service to the customers.

They added sangeet marathi , sangeet bangla on a transponder which has just HD channels but this does not mean that there is shortage of bandwidth,it may well be part of a strategy to accommodate channels on current transponders. Recently they had shuffled many channels across transponders so this would have resulted in creating more free bandwidth on some transponders while on others there might b less space so they will accordingly adjust SD and HD channels on them.
Sometimes even broadcasters try to request operators to add their channels on transponders which have more signal quality so that reception is least interrupted during bad weather. Quite possible that Travel XP HD, Food XP, Travel XP Tamil might be added on this TP itself. Hi Dost might b included in some other transponder which carries mostly FTA SD channels

New transponders ofcourse might be activated soon. Apart from this the recent maintenance activities carried out by them may have involved deploying some new infrastructure to optimise the usage of bandwidth, maybe some new encoders might have been installed which would mean that airtel digital tv can use somewhat lesser bandwidth to add SD and HD channels while mauntaining excellent transmission quality

No, dude. It is quite difficult to press a four-digit number on a remote, especially for elderly persons. I'm quite certain.

Please consider this message as feedback to anyone is reading it ( Especially airtel DTH team )

I do understand that but 4 digit LCN is essential to align channels properly on EPG. If there is proper , well spaced separation between various genres & each genre is allotted clearly defined slots on EPG then it will b much easier/convenient for customers to access channels & even look lot more better. Not only this but there won't be requirement of frequently changing LCN of channels to free up LCN slots for any particular genre.

Elderly do take some time to adjust with the new changes but 4 digit lcn is perfectly suitable for them too.
