They have no need to convert into mpeg 4. They have already enough space and want to use only 5 tp from ses 8 and keep others reserved for backup for nss6.

Why should Dish tv invest crore's of rupee's like Tatasky to convert their Tp's and channels to MP4, has they have tons of space in their Tp's to add channels and they still didn't used the Space they have in their Asiasat 5 satellite. May be in future they will have space problem but currently they can add many more channels without converting their Tps to Mp4
