you are right NSS-6 is a communications satellite
owned by SES WORLD SKIES.
SES-8 will be co-located with NSS-6 to
provide growth capacity over Asia-
Pacific. The high performance beams
will support rapidly growing markets
in South Asia and Indo-China, as well
as provide expansion capacity for
DTH, VSAT and government
applications.

it carries total ku band Transponders upto 33 (36 MHz equivalent) of which about 12 is for dishtv.

Its very good new that we have this sat @ 95*East and now we can received 4 satellite easily in one dish means: (91.5*East,93.5*East,95*East both NSS6 + SES-8)

Thanks sis and these are like this:-

1. 91.5*East (For Big-Tv + Sun-Tv)
2. 93.5*East (For DD+Users)
3. 95*East (For Dish-Tv + SES-8 Users)

and sis these all can be easily catch on 80CM to 90CM dish. Thanks

You are absolutely right sis , How I forget that and I am happy that you also learn many technical points a very good catch thanks

Certainly it would be a great position to have so many satellites at one place.But I have doubt about DD+ & Dishtv while fine Tuning we get these two DTH in one lnb and Replacing it with mono block would mainly show NSS6 at 95*East & Asiasat-5 at 100.5*East ,I mean we may loose DD+ or some TP'S thanks
