last month i purchased a standard definition d2h connection. I received HD 2244 IR set top box. according to d2h this is a standard def set top box. my ques is why the model is named HD? when i asked d2h customer care they are saying for upgrade to hd box i have to pay Rs.999. This box already has USB port, HDMI port still they say its a standard box? can anyone clarify my doubt?

Thanks

hd channels ll only b seen in hd boxes.
sd channels means lower picture quality as compared to hd channels.
