After a lot of controversies and delays, the shooting of Shahid Kapoor’s Mausam has finally been wrapped up! Shahid confirmed this on a social networking site.
He wrote: “Final patchwork done ..... Its a wrap for me on MAUSAM ! .... 2 yrs.” Shahid has behaved like a responsible son and has been totally dedicated towards his father Pankaj Kapur’s directorial debut Mausam. He was last seen in the dud Milenge Milenge, which though released in 2010, was shot in 2004! Before Mausam, Badmaash Company was officially the last big project Shahid shot for.
Shahid Kapoor dedicated the entire 2010 and the first half of 2011 to his fathers’ dream project. Mausam was initially scheduled for a release in July this year but due to the delays in the production work and co-star Sonam Kapoor’s health problems the shooting could not be finished on time. The movie will now release in September.
Meanwhile, Shahid had started shooting for Kunal Kohli’s upcoming romance-drama movie with Priyanka Chopra in May end. Buzz is that Shahid has already told Kunal that he will need a break from the shooting schedule in late October and early September for the promotion of Mausam.
Phew! Finally after the passing by of so many mausams, the shooting of Mausam has completed!
