Good News Signal Levels improved for INSAT 4A TP Channels

Hi Guys,

My STB just restarted on its own few hours back. First I felt it may be a new software update, but it was not. Then i tried to find out if anything is new or not.

I checked Signal Levels of INSAT 4A TPs (as on STB) like channel 2031, and i found signal levels for these channels are full 100%.

Pls check if others also are getting better improved signal levels.

No Changes found for GSAT 10 TPs.

Has the channels being migrated to GSAT 30 ???

It was told by some sources that all TP s of Insat4A has-been already migrated to Gsat31 as per this thread

I didnt put GSAT 31 as in the STB it still shows INSAT 4A. As there should be no confusion, i put it as INSAT 4A.

As per that thread migration completed..so I think we can put it as gsat31 at least here to clear confusions as raised to me ...It's not what I believe but the forum has approved the migrations....
no harsh measures...

Why it'll be done Gsat 31 is a new satellite Launched last year only . Whereas Insat 4B is an very old sat its nearing its life end so C Band channels migrating to Gsat 30 . I think there will be no migration again for Gsat 31 . It'll in 83°E for Tata sky additional satellite .

Its insat 4a replacement . Gsat 31 is additional satellite at 83°E.
