@stiwari @ab666 I partially agree with you in very first time when BARC gives rating Sony was at No.1 after which they corrected their system. Yes Indian household watched these shows and you won't believe even Pakistan audience watched Indian shows than their Drama because in our television we have music and keep engaging story or whatever we call it.
Ratings matters and BARC need to give BAR-O-METERS to household which watches different categories. For example Star Plus top edged shows like Laughter Challenge, Sumit Sambhal Lega, Everest, Khichdi, etc failed on TV because they were not meant for TV audience they meant for audience which binge watch, which want different categories. But, Star Plus core audience want those old rona dhona. That's it.
You won't believe but Sony and Star Bharat shows are really doing well on online platform.
