France is an example of first world country. When I open World bank website France was in front of me that's why I take it.

Agreed! We pay high prices for everything. But I guess the percentage of high we pay for television services is still way lower than products like phones (specifically Apple), cars and even fruits! So I guess since we are not grumbling about these very high priced products we should be okay to pay a small difference for television services.

Guys it's just my thought not questioning anyone's opinion here.
