Responding to a PIL filed by Mukesh Sharma, the Bombay High Court has issued notices to Amitabh Bachchan and Multi Screen Media.

Mukesh Sharma filled complaint against a promo of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC 4), which insults Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's slogan Tum mujhe khoon do, main tumhe azadi doonga. Chief Justice Mohit Shah and Justice G S Godbole have asked both Bachchan and Sony TV to file their response by 28 of this month.

The Court also asked Mukesh to make the I&B and Advertisement Standard Council of India as respondents as well.

Rejecting down the seriousness in the argument, counsel for Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) Rui Rodrigues said that the promo was not insulting but was funny and the supervising committee had gone into the matter before clearing it.

Mukesh Sharma said that, all the promos were insulting, defamatory and maligning and it was surprising to note why Bachchan did not excuse himself from playing his act in the controversial promo of KBC 4.
