It will definitely launch before this year's Olympics, UEFA Euro 2020 and few other international bilateral cricket series as almost all of them are happening at same time around June/July so a much needed new Sports channel.
They may now also look to acquire LA Liga or Bundesliga rights as well or some other sports properties whose rights are currently not held by any major broadcaster and air them on Sony Ten 4 and it may have different regional feeds as well.

Having seen so many HD channel shutdowns from them, including Sony ESPN HD and Sony Ten Golf HD, this comes as a welcome relief. Yes, hope they acquire la liga rights next season onwards. Any idea if they had submitted bid? They can manage bundesliga as well with the number of channels they have.

Sony needs to stop showing same match in Sony ten 2 and Sony ten 3 in English and Hindi respectively.

They are showing UEFA Europa league knockouts , especially the quarterfinals in the above fashion, thereby not showing one of the four quarter finals.
