because jio cinema is not trying to improve user experience. They are mentioning 4k as a marketing term . if they dont get 4k from bcci its okay for them . they will just upscale 1080 to 4k and broadcast it in full hd bandwidth. The end result will be a crappy 4k broadcast. But they will display a logo ASLI 4k. If they were really looking for improving user experience they could broadcast the original 1080p in higher bandwidth that will significantly improve the user experience, but there wont be any marketing term for it.
