Jinx gone with them giving priorities to other sports. Wimbledon in Hindi and growth in Premier League by airing on Star Sports 3 in regional languages.

There was no such Jinx and even in 2011 Star Sports was the broadcaster when India won ODI world cup and after that too India won many trophies / tournaments / series which Star Sports aired.....also Star Sports has been airing Premier League in Hindi + Regional Languages since long time and even for many other local or international leagues they have provided this option.....coming to ur point about focusing on other sports again they have 2 dedicated Star Sports Select channels which have been catering primarily to audience intetested in watching sports other than cricket and even on their regular channels they have been airing various Live Sporting action but India Cricket forms the crux of their content strategy on these channels as same is important to recover investments made in acquiring the rights.....u can see even sports18 channels aired less of cricket initially but as they hot rights to BCCI and other cricket leagues now Cricket gets most coverage thru the day on all their channels

Until 2013, Star Sports gave priority to other sports. We won ICC Champions Trophy on that year. Than whole rebranding happened when Sachin retired. Than we started losing again until Star Sports started pushing other global sports on main channel. Don't get me wrong they tried many desperate things like pushing away other sports viewers by making sports exclusive to HD channels. Airing pocal football highlights over international ones. After losing IPL they came to sense. They aired things one would never imagined from them like FIFA Women's World Cup.
