They will eventually loose atleast 5 events (by not taking part in renewal auctions ) in this list. After honeymoon period this shrinks. Non renewal of premiere league is one example.
👇This is what I said(not specifically about ACC). As Jio Star has abundant properties, they will not be aggressive in renewing some of the events they currently own.
“This is a major win for us because the ACC media rights include the India-Pakistan games, which are the most sought after matches. We have made a financially prudent investment, and this property has immense value,” SPNI CEO Gaurav Banerjee told ET.

“Acquiring ACC media rights wouldn’t have brought any incremental gains to JioStar on either TV or digital platforms,” said a sports broadcast expert.

Banerjee said SPNI’s cricket calendar, featuring rights to ACC, New Zealand Cricket, England Cricket, and Sri Lanka Cricket, looks strong. Next year, the network plans to showcase India’s tour of England and the Asia Cup.

If Star & Viacom hasn't merged, Both of them will participate in this auction along with Sony & probably Viacom 18 win.
Anyway Sony gets chances to stay profitable as the bids even not starts movement. And hope they will be more aggressive in acquiring upcoming events against Jio Star as its cheapskate CEO NP Singh step down and the new CEO Banerjee is from a money liberal background.
