A quick question for knowledgeable members:

Since the new RIO star sports Khel has dropped out of dd free dish. So what is the point of that channel now? will it be available on tata play and airtel? But I still do not understand what is the purpose of that channel currently.

to add if i understand correctly:
star sports 1,2 : cricket
star sports 3: ISL, BWF
star sports select 1,2: Premier League

Star sports Khel: ?

Star Sports khel is the same as Star Sports First, Only that Star Sports First was rebranded as Star Sports 2 Kannada for ready availability on DPO's.

Star Sports first lost its identity when it left DD Free Dish
Same goes with Star Sports Khel, only pro kabbadi would feature live on Khel, as it used to be on First.

Got it. Thanks for the quick reply.
Though i dont understand why they telecast it in star sports 3 itself then and close khel. I think erstwhile star sports first sometimes used to telecast PL matches too. So confusing.

My understanding Khel will be used for domestic cricket matches like Ranji, and other domestic matches.
