Should Sports Networks have Regional Channels?

Similary , BCCI can give the cricket rights to SONY and star sports, whose ever graphics and pic quality is good, we can watch in that channel.
Channel 7 and Fox Cricket jointly own the rights. Channel 7 is FTA channel which will rely on advertising while Fox Cricket is fully paid channel which isn't at paying power for most of the users in the country. So, Channel 7 and Fox put a bid together based on those segregations. They aren't competing with each other as is the case with Sony AND STAR. Its like how Doordarshan shares the rights with Sony or Star who has the rights.

7 is a FTA broadcaster which, by virtue of anti-siphoning law in Australia, is a joint broadcaster for Cricket, its a joint bid, as required, between a FTA and A Pay Tv network
