The $1.5 billion International Cricket Council (ICC) TV rights deal between Disney Star and Zee Entertainment Enterprises hangs in the balance with the new media rights cycle set to kick off next month.

A source aware of the development said the ICC TV deal, which was announced in August 2022, is yet to be concluded as Zee has not given the required bank guarantees to Disney Star.

Its better if zee shifts its HQ near to court, atleast they can save travel cost and time.

Zee's reluctance says so much about the television ad market.

And yet Disney expecting $10 billion valuation for their Indian unit.

SS2 , SS3 is available in most of the dth base packs, hence Star trying to show most important matches in SS1, and trying to earn peanuts from channel cost
