No HDAFC champions League 2022 Mumbai city FC matches match live on star sports 3
Ruined whole Australian gp weekend this clown, STAR Sports always shows ads every 7-8 min Formula 1 like it is cricket. Missed lot of action including safety car restart. Max Verstappen was half a car left behind, almost going to overtake Charles Leclerc and this clown cut the action to ads. This guys already have Picture in Picture ads feature still shows full screen ads for whole 4-5 min. Its like 70% race and 30% ads also at crucial moments when someone is pitting for tyres or someone fights for position,
If tennis can have this why not Formula 1 ?
.
Absolutely agree with you. There are a lot of instances where nothing is happening on track, they can show full-screen ads at that time. But when two drivers are fighting for position and suddenly ads starts, that frustrating at that moment they need to show PIP ads. Eurosports rarely shows ads between MotoGP races. Yeah their strategy might be different from STAR Sports. But they need to find right balance, solutions that fans can also don't miss any crucial moments in the race & they can also earn back the profit. Sky Sports offers fans to rewatch the best moments, replays, pitstop by pressing a red button in the Live race. F1 fans will surely invest in that if STAR offers that service. So buddy how do u want them to recover investment, F1 does not offer many intervals for ads which is still somewhat possible in tennis. Will it b fine if they launch a niche sports channel and make it available at Rs. 50 per month with limited ads? How many would b willing to opt for it? Being a sports broadcaster they r still trying to bring niche sports on TV chs and that too when they surely r in difficult situation to recover all the investment including those done on cricket. You need to understand the complexity of finding ways to monetise sports events when star sports already has to not only try to to break even/ generate profit for IPL, BCCI, ICC cricket events but also for host of other sports like football , tennis, f1, golf, hockey etc.
It is much easier for a sports broadcaster to have a healthy financial status if they r not investing too much into big cricket rights. Reason being they can invest in lot many sports events even with lesser overall investment as compared to what the broadcaster holding big cricket properties as well niche sports and still manage to recover investment.
So buddy, yes criticise a broadcaster where they r wrong but just commenting negatively without understanding backstory is not the correct approach
