Mostly rural people depend on linear TV.
Urban people mostly using ott and Internet based services.
And linear TV is declining everywhere.

I put up in delhi...
have all my frnd n relatives here... know ppl from all age group..

I can agree, ott/netflix/aprime etc are being watched by ppl these days...and linear tv is declining steadily, but it isnt that they ve removed dth/cable connection

its high time Star takes steps and relaunch Star One they can make that channel for kids and youth.... they can remake shows like Son pari, shararat, khichdi etc even they can put reality shows like dance plus or the voice as they wanted to keep Star plus only for serials Star bharat is a dead channel.... people are paying for this channel when there is hardly any content @dino29 bro pls write to jio star regarding this matter and see if they reply back to u

Star Bharat programming was very good with that "Bhula de Darr, Kuchh alag karr" tagline until 2022. But after revamp into a devotional GEC it went downhill only. There is no such space for Devotional GECs in Market, but don't know why broadcasters are blindly running behind it.

Now they got Colors as another primary GEC. I don't think they will focus on it anymore. Star Bharat is alive, just to fill spots in broadcaster packs.

And many many more
Nostalgia + Legacy

Life OK tried but other than a few shows nothing great happened
Else we wudnt have seen Star Bharat in the first place
