Looks like old logo of star gold and the themes are newer, but the wording star gold is very very small.

I think it's some technical glitch hence they are using old Star Gold logo with a '2' underneath, they are using the original logo in the promo

Better to remove the first picture as the Star Gold 2 logo is not visible clearly.

Star Gold & HD logo remain same (no changes)

Star Gold 2 Logo changed,
Mew logo has been replaced with the color of the old star gold logo and word "2" moved below.

Really odd move, when they launch HD version it will sounds Star Gold HD 2, not Star Gold 2 HD, like Star Sports's versions.

Not only the colour of old logo is used, they're completely using the old logo. They've just put 2 below the logo.
I think it's temporary as they're still showing the new logo in promos. Although they're not going to launch the HD version now but even if they launch they'll write HD beside 2.

Now Star Gold has scaled down on content too, it started showing latest bollywood movies but now just old bollywood or dubbed south indian films form major part... Looks like they do not want to give more recent films at just Re. 1 and cannot increase price bcoz of ongoing NTO dispute
