Star India to launch two new HD sports channels

wow. Premier League only in HD... very bold move by star.
I actually welcome this move as i prefer to watch sports in HD Only, however there are still lot of people who dont have HD TV, now they will be forced to upgrade to HD TV;they like it or not.

Sony also made a move to telecast IPL in English only on ESPN HD but within 3 days their plan backfired after facing wrath from users on Fb and Twitter and they were made to rectify their mistake

Similar would happen with Star Network,they would be forced to bring Premiere League back on SD

Moreover Star Select HD wouldn't be available on probably 3 DTH's and about 70% MSO and Digital Cable's so they have to take back this decision :k
