Just an example, In Telugu speaking states, Lot of dubbed content of Colors Hindi is shared with ETV and Gemini channels. What's wrong in having their own shows running on their own branded channel!

JioStar now have an excellent opportunity in their own hands to revive 2nd GEC channels in southern states of India. They just need to utilise them properly. If they have to shutdown channels they should first think of Hindi GEC/Movie channels. Not regional channels.

Moreover, JioStar will try not to shut down as many channels as possible because ad rates are frozen as part of the merger requirements. Aside from the channels that need to be sold/shuttered as per the CCI, JioStar needs as many channels as possible (including rerun channels) to be on air to get as much ad revenue as possible.

Other names on your list are OK as they are secondary channels. But Star Jalsha is the biggest Bengali channel and it won’t shut down. Perhaps you meant Colors Bangla instead, since Jalsha Movies has been asked to shut down/be sold by the CCI.

The above 5 channels in the list are taken from CCI order, but I mistakely read only Star Jalsha as it's in inverted commas.
List updated and Star Jalsha Movies and Colors Bangal added on the place of Star Jalsha and Colors Bangal Cinema.
