I'm guessing channel addition was done in several cities. The News18 channels you mentioned were also added later. Other few channels were there from before in my place. The Zee channels you mentioned might be added soon. I think the one benefit new TRAI rule has given us is that we might see quite a few unavailable channels being made available in all the regions.
