They can't broadcast IPL on service channel due to guidelines issued in sep 2022.

TRAI doesn't seem to enforce this rule strictly. So delay/cancellation of Star Sports 4K might not be because of this.

Examples:
Songdew TV is available in DishD2h, Jio IPTV etc.
Den, GTPL and Hathway cable networks share service channels amongst them
HITS TV is available in Jio IPTV, Tata Play etc.

There might be more examples missing from this list.

It's look like HD itself upscaled on 4K, that's why they're stick 25 Fps Nakli 4K. One more thing Same production company producing under BCCI for BCCI home/IPL in 4K, overall it's all depends on Broadcaster/Streaming platforms but they're not even much interested.

STAR have BCCI/IPL rights holder, produces are in 25fps, but Spark sport is produces NZC cricket in 50fps, which are streaming in Amazon Prime video, So we can blame STAR here for poor/blurry picture quality for faster movements of live cricket.

That's the problem. I had some issue on first day of FIFA World Cup. Than I updated the app. It was and is still working.

Reason is that Digital distribution rights .To distribute a channel broadcasting ipl digitally star must Own digital rights of that event.So they can’t give Digital feed to Dth and mso

I am using Full HD TV but with Tata Play Binge 4k box I am able to watch Jio 4K asli feed..
