Star Sports issues notices to YOU Scod 18 and Darpita Trading for non-payment of dues

Sports broadcaster Star Sports has issued disconnection notices to multi-system operator (MSO) YOU Scod 18 and Hinduja Ventures-owned cable operator Darpita Trading for non-payment of dues. YOU Scod 18 operates mainly in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai while Darpita Trading has operations mainly in Kalyan city. The disconnection notices were issued on 11 June and if the two cable TV operators fail to clear the dues by 3 July, their customers will not be able to watch Star Sports 1, Star Sports 2, Star Sports 3, Star Sports 4, Star Sports HD1 and Star Sports HD2. Star Sports has India-England cricket series, Champions League T20, US Open and F1 races lined up in the next six months.
