I have a DishTV connection from past 5 years, and I'm using D-6005 HD stb, should I consider upgrading the stb?? Is picture quality and sound quality is better in modern stb compared to D-6005?

I think not much change in Picture quality if you upgrade,new boxes life reliabilty is less as compared to old box

But this keeps happening while watching somw HD channels, even though signal quality and strength is at nearly 90%
Cc asked me to swap the stb

Refurbished?? Won't they give me a new one if I'm ready to pay for it?

You will be charged more refurbished will be around Rs450 plus visit,you need to give new STB option while placing order,just see there is a scheme in Dish TV life time warranty,if you are covered in that while talking to customer care.2017 post Shows Rs350 plus tax for STB swap.
