Tools you need to recover
1. DB9 null RS232 cable having three wires
- Three Pin configuration (though there are four wires inside your STB)
pin2-pin3
pin3-pin2
pin5-pin5
2. Universal Loader to upgrade your bricked STB
3. Software file either in .bin or .abs format or all chunk files
4. Power backup
5. And of course your bricked STB
Step by Step process
1. Connect your STB to serial port of computer using DB9 null RS232 cable and confirm it is in OFF sate
2. Start universal loader, hit connect, and simultaneously turn ON STB
3. Following screen will come, Double click on all chunk, and select appropriate software
4. Now process will start and stb starts upgrading
5. This window gives you great relief :c:c:c
6. I have this software to extract all chunk files
