One distributor (for all DTH) informed that they themselves are not offering SUN DTH to new subscribers due to less Malayalam channels and no more cost advantage.

Exactly. The current situation is only because of their Last time rush attitude. They didn't do any planning, waited for Trai to extend the deadline. Once they realised extension won't be possible, they just pushed out something to comply with Trai criteria, that's it.

In the coming months, hope we will see new packs.
 
Today i called sun dth cc and ask i want to add bouqets with my ncf. But they told me with ncf you can only addon as alacarte only. So for 40 hd channels you need to spend almost 22rs each.

Then i asked i need 40 hd channels , they suggest me old hd prime package will serve all and not going to be cancel. It will be continued. So i moved to hd prime.
 
Currently no problem for using old packages. My expiry was extended automatically with Cinema plus sports pack using some amount left in my SD account.

For how many months have u recharged?since it s showing 1 month only. My recharge also going to expire by 15th Feb. ..

Tmrw r Day After Tmrw,, we can expect English Audio Feed Addition in both Jeet Prime SD and Jeet Prime HD
 
Sun direct is the only DTH which has retained its old packs. I am not sure whether it will continue. Tamil subscriber taking ncf plus pay channels could take Tamil economy pack at 169. Why don't other DTH companies retain old packs with ncf and other alacarte and broadcast add on .
