As of 2021 May 12 11 Channels are added on Sun Direct in 2021 B4U Movies,PTC Punjabi Gold,PTC Simran,News 18 MP/CH,Paras,Republic Bangla,Star Vijay Music,Tehzeeb,Gubbare,Star Pravah HD,Star Maa Movies HD.I think 3 main things that Sun Direct not able to add more channels Immediately & Bulk is (1)less Bandwidth,(2)Trai NTO 2.0 Implement Delay(3) Covid 19 Pandemic.Most of the South SD channels are available in Measat 3 SateillteTPs which is going to Expire in this Year(2021)Sun Direct want 4 New TPs to replace Measat 3 Sateillte TPs.I am Eagarely waiting to see what should Sun Direct is going to do?

Gsat 15 satellite have 24 KU Band Transponders Out of 24 TPs 9 TPs Using by DD FD, 6 TPs Using by Dish TV, 4 TPs Using by Sun Direct, remaing 5 TPs not using by anybody! @Chezhiyan bro,any chance of those 5 TPs will get to Sun Direct or not?

Measat 3B satellite have 48 Ku band Transponders,out of 48 TPs 5 TPs using by Sun Direct, Earlier in 2014 Some websites revealed that Sun Direct Applied for 9 Transponders in Measat 3B If this news is true then Where is remaining 4 TPs? @Chezhiyan, @Vadirocks bros any info about this?

If Sun Direct will get 12 TPs in Measat 3D,5 TPs in Gsat 15,4 TPs in Measat 3B ,Total 12 TPs in Measat 3D +9 TPs in Gsat 15 +9 TPs in Measat 3B= 30 TPs

Yeah! Initially it was said that Sun Direct will acquire 9 tps from Measat 3B...But they faced many struggles in acquiring that..Meanwhile, after few years, they got 4tps from GSAT 15 Indian satellite alone and 5 tps obtained from Measat 3B..So total now 9 tps which is equal to earlier said one..

If Sun Direct & Dish TV d2h exit from Indian DTH Industry then 2 Big Corporate DTHs Tata sky & Airtel Digital TV will battle each other,Same case also with Mobile Service Provider ,If Vi exit from the service Reliance Jio & Airtel Battle each other!!!

Yes bro, compared to other DTH, Sun direct faced many issues....Right from Insat 4B failure, realignment to new satellite, sharing channels from Reliance, acquiring regulatory clearance from Govt for Measat 3 B....
