Sun Direct stops ROI Regional Language Customer Care Support for ROI CC

Yes Sun Direct stops regional language customer care support for ROI. Now whenever you call 033 39407575 or 18001237575 you can talk with CC only in Hindi or English. Previously you could have talked in Bengali, Odia, Marathi & Punjabi Languages too. The only Bengali CC they had Mr Shrabon I think has resigned. Now computerized voice says "Dial 1 for English, 2 for Hindi." Previously it also used to say "Dial 3 for other languages". Now it no longer says. Source: 033 39407575 & 18001237575.

This indeed a bad news they should hier people in customer care who can understand and speak more than one languages

Its the beginning of an end of Sun direct.
This means they have no future plans for rest of India. Now they will close operations in one more state and there by strengthening other state. If they remove bengali channels and other rest of India channels they will get some freed frequencies and in which they can add tamil and other south Indian channels.
I personally feel this is going to happen for surviving in south.

So many tamil channels launched recent years and especially some good news channels....

Anyhow whoever wins there will be ultimate pressure on sun network and other small Tamil GEC as television giants Sony and Colors are entering into Tamil market this year....

But its not effecting sun network. There growth rate is nearly 4%.
