Sun Pictures has reportedly opted out of distributing yet another Tamil film. After shelving a few films, including recent release Avan Ivan, it has now dropped Dhanush starrer Venghai.
Now, the producer of the film has decided to release the film on his own throughout Tamil Nadu. The Sun Pictures, which distributed Dhanush's Aadukalam last year, had earlier acquired the rights of the film. An unconfirmed report says that the change in the guard in politics might be the reason behind it.
Venghai has received U/A certificate from the Censor Board. It features Dhanush, Tamanna Bhatia and Rajkiran in the leads, which is directed by Hari. The movie is expected to hit the screens on July 1.
